Privacy Policy

This is a plain-English description of what we actually do with your data when you use the AccioAdmit resume tool, not legal boilerplate copied from somewhere else. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll explain it properly.
What we collect

What we don't do
- We never store your original resume file. Text extraction happens in your browser before anything is sent to us.
- We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.
- We don't use your resume to train any AI model.
How long we keep things
- Free preview: your resume text is sent to Claude to generate the preview, then discarded on our end once you have your result. We don't keep a copy.
- Paid full report — while it's being generated: the moment you pay, we briefly hold a copy of your resume text on our servers, purely so your report can still be delivered if something goes wrong (like your browser closing before it finishes). This copy is automatically and permanently deleted the instant your report is successfully generated, or after 2 hours, whichever comes first. It's never used for anything else, and it's never created for free previews.
- Paid full report — once it's ready: we save the AI-generated report (the feedback we wrote, not your original resume file) linked to your email, so you can reopen it later via a private link. This is kept for 6 months, then automatically and permanently deleted.
- Newsletter sign-up: kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the link in any newsletter email.
Who else sees your data
We use a small number of specific tools to run this product. Each only sees the data it needs to do its job:
- Anthropic (Claude) — processes your resume text to generate feedback
- Cashfree — processes payment for the full report; we never touch your card or bank details directly
- Supabase — hosts the database where saved paid reports live
- Resend — sends transactional emails (report links, payment confirmations)
- Beehiiv — sends our newsletter, only if you opt in
- Google Analytics — anonymized, aggregate site usage analytics
- Google Sheets — we log funnel events (an upload happened, a report was purchased) to a private spreadsheet for our own analytics. This includes your email, the geography and target schools you entered, and how you found us (for example, which ad or link brought you here). It's used only to understand and improve the product, and is never sold.
- Microsoft Clarity — session recordings and heatmaps to see what's confusing on the page. Once you enter your email, we tag the recording with it so we can find your specific session if you contact us for support. Resume text and email fields are masked in the recording itself — we don't watch you type your resume. This data stays inside Clarity's dashboard for our own use; it isn't shared for advertising.
- Meta Pixel — standard visit and funnel-stage tracking (page views, upload started, report purchased) if you arrived via one of our ads. This uses browser cookies, not your email or any hashed version of it — nothing about who you specifically are gets sent to Meta.
Your rights
There's no account system on this tool, so there's nothing to log into or delete yourself. If you'd like your saved paid report deleted before its 6-month expiry, or have any other question about your data, email us at workwithaccioadmit@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect or how we use it changes in any meaningful way, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
